STEVE TAYLOR NOMINATED FOR PRODUCER OF THE YEAR AWARD
NASHVILLE, TENN--Producer/artist/filmmaker and Squint Entertainment founder Steve Taylor was recently honored with GMA's 1998 Producer of the Year nomination. In addition Taylor received two Dove nominations for his work on the latest efforts from Sixpence None the Richer and Guardian. When the 29th Annual Dove Award nominations were announced at the Nashville Arena on February 17, Taylor's leadership as a producer was recognized for the fifth year in row.
Asked to comment on his penchant for losing, Taylor replied, "My long term goal is to be the Susan Lucci of this category, but you never know... As a life-long Denver Broncos' fan, I realize they didn't win the big one until trip number five."
Taylor's latest production efforts were Sixpence None the Richer's new self-titled album and Guardian's BOTTLE ROCKET. SIXPENCE NONE THE RICHER was just nominated as GMA's Modern Rock/Alternative Album of the Year and named 7ball Magazine's Critics' Choice for Album of the Year.
